The Mill Road Winter Fair Committee doesn’t just organise the annual Winter Fair. Thanks to funding from Love Mill Road, we also run Mill Road Fringe events throughout the year. These nurture and celebrate Mill Road’s creativity by delivering local projects and encouraging community interaction. Events are free and open to all.
The upcoming 2023 Mill Road Fringe programme includes:
- An Autumn Mini Film Festival at ARU’s Covent Garden Drama Studio on Saturday 23 September. Curated by Cambridge Film Projects, the programme showcases a selection of cutting-edge art-house films.
- A Season of Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness Poetry Evening at Hot Numbers on Thursday 26 October. Informal readings and inspiration from local poets and writers.
Plus, in early Spring 2024, we will be holding a Mill Road Charity Shop Fashion Show. We are planning a fabulous evening which will demonstrate why Mill Road is Cambridge’s leading destination for sustainable fashion.
